Just a reminder that the U.K. ETA 'Visa' went into effect yesterday (January 8) for non-Europeans.

Starting from March 5, 2025, European nationals will also be able to apply for the ETA, with enforcement beginning on April 2, 2025. 

Currently, if you are planning a trip to the U.K. and have an expired Portugal Residence Permit (like many of us do now), you may want to apply from the comfort of your home now prior to traveling.
